I hope you are in good health and good spirits. This post is to let you know that I will reopen my bodywork practice on June 1, 2020.

I want to tell you about some operational changes that will be in effect when I resume business operations. Please read this post so you will know what to expect.

I understand that some of these changes may be inconvenient or uncomfortable. Please know that your safety is my priority. That is why I am doing everything I can protect clients, colleagues, and the community by following requirements and recommendations from government and trade associations.

Your part:

Please cancel or reschedule your appointment if you have cough, fever or any other symptoms of illness. The cancellation policy is suspended temporarily during this time.

Please wear a mask when you arrive. This is required for all businesses in the city of Minneapolis. If you don’t bring one, I have masks to purchase. Disposable ones ($1) are available now. I hope to have cloth masks ($5) available by June 1. Limit one mask per session.

Please wait in your car, or outside, for your appointment time. Text or call 612-817-5571 when you arrive. I will meet you at the Hennepin Avenue door to let you in.

Please sanitize your hands when you come into the office. Soap and water and hand sanitizer will be available.

I have a 1-page, COVID-19 intake form to be filled out on the day of your appointment. Services will not be provided without this form having been completed and signed the day of each appointment during this pandemic season.

Do not bring any additional people with you to your appointment. If a minor is scheduled, please have just one parent accompany them.

Please bring only minimal and necessary belongings with you, such as a phone, keys, and form of payment. Please do not bring any food or drink with you.

I may take your temperature with an infrared contactless scanner when you arrive. If you have a fever of 100.4 or higher, you will be asked to leave and reschedule your appointment for another time.

Our part:

All tools and equipment will be cleaned and disinfected between each client using hospital grade disinfectant. Extra time has been added between sessions to accommodate new procedures.

I will take my temperature and monitor for signs of illness. I will stay home and get tested as needed, if any signs appear. I will notify you as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

I will follow hand washing protocols and apply new gloves, masks, and shirts between each client.

I am not offering any magazines, tea, water, or snacks at this time.

These guidelines are subject to change at short notice.
