If you have symptoms of a contagious illness, please reschedule. Clients are invited but not required to wear a face covering while in session.
-
For the comfort of other clients, please refrain from using products containing fragrance / perfume prior to your session.
-
Payment is accepted by cash, check or card. Payment in full is due at time of service.
-
All clients are provided one free missed session.
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In the event of illness or emergency, please notify Barbara by email or text message.
For non-emergencies, provide 24 hours advance notice to cancel an appointment. Any future cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment start time and no-shows will be charged the full amount of the service. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
-
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the cost of a “full” session.
-
Techniques can be adjusted for comfort. Clients will inform the therapist if they feel pain or discomfort during their session, or if they wish to adjust the depth or pace of the bodywork. If the discomfort cannot be resolved, the client may choose to end the session. Clients accept all responsibility for loss or injury related to nondisclosure.
The client is also invited to request changes for their comfort to music, lighting, the table warmer setting, etc.
-
Clients who are age 18 or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
-
Professional massage is therapeutic and non-sexual in nature. Proper draping will be used. Any inappropriate behavior on the clients part will result in an immediate termination of the session. The client will be responsible for paying the full cost of the session.
-
A therapeutic bodywork provider does not diagnose disease, illness, or prescribe any treatment or drugs, offer counseling outside of their scope of practice, nor provide spinal or joint manipulation.

We strive to provide a hospitable environment that embraces diversity. We welcome all clients regardless of race, religion, national origin, gender, or orientation.
