Banned books week

I get cross when I hear about some organization that wants to ban a book, however well-intentioned and sincere they may be. I have read many books that have been banned somewhere in the US. I have generally found the ones that I have read to be well-written and thought-provoking.

I see one of the 10 most challenged books of 2012 was The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. I read it for book club and thought it was really good. I think anyone with parents should read it.
