Staying Healthy into Old Age

Actions that you take in your early adulthood and middle age will result in a vibrant old age, according to Dan Buettner (endurance athlete, speaker and author). Here are tips from his latest book, Blue Zone Solution:

  • Be social. Hang out with people who support healthy behaviors

  • Find an activity, passion or career that motivates you and gives your life meaning

  • Engage in regular physical activity such as with a walking group, gardening or doing errands by foot or bicycle

  • Eat a mainly plant-based diet
